Guano is simply bird droppings “in this case seabird droppings”.
Guano contains a rich combination of essential phosphate (P) and calcium (Ca) plus a wide range of beneficial trace elements that plants need for healthy growth.
Guano phosphate is far more natural than other forms of phosphate fertiliser, it is not susceptible to leaching nor does it cause sudden changes in pH like other forms of phosphate fertiliser.
Guano will insure a balanced and timely delivery of phosphate to plants when needed.
LAWNS 10 – 50 grams per square metre. Phosphate is typically low in lawns when clippings are removed in this case the higher application rate is applicable. Apply early spring and or autumn.
GARDEN 20-50 grams per square metre. Phosphate is essential for root development in young plants and especially important for fruiting and flower plants. Apply in early spring late winter as a side dressing around established plants or as a base dressing at spring sowing and planting time.
