How to Feed

For horses and ponies up to 400kg feed one scoop per day. For horses over 400kg, feed two scoops a day.

The supplied scoop holds 3 grams.

How to Feed

The pelleted form makes it easy to administer and reduces the chance of horses sifting it out. Introduce slowly to let your horse get used to the taste.

All feeding rates are on the label. Always replace the lid tightly. The supplied scoop holds 40 grams.

How to Feed

Serving Size: 65g or 1 scoop

Daily dose recommendations:

• Up to 200kg bodyweight: ¾ scoop
• 200-400kg: 1.5 scoops
• 400-600kg:: 2 scoops
• 600+: 3 scoops

For best results, divide and feed the daily serve into two or more equal meals per day (can also be fed in one meal).

NB : not a treatment for discomfort or disease – call your vet if animal is unwell. Does not contain any prohibited or illegal substance listed under FEI rules or AU:NZ Rules of Racing. Keep in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Ensure your horses receive a minimum 1% of their body-weight as additional good quality fiber and give open access to fresh clean drinking water and salt block if needed.

Can be used to ‘top up’ the vitamin and mineral contribution in the diet if feeding a full feed at below the recommended feeding rates.

Feeding Recommendations

If feeding a ‘full feed’ (containing vitamins and minerals) at amounts between 1-2kg per day (based on a 500kg bodyweight) Dunstan Vits + Mins can be added at 200grams to ‘top up’ nutrients shortfalls and balance the diet.

Do not add Dunstan Vits + Mins when feeding a full feed (containing vitamins and minerals) in excess of 2.5kg per day (based on a 500kg bodyweight)

Feeding Notes

• Ensure adequate fibre intakes by providing 1% – 1.5% per day of the horses body weight as Dunstan Betabeet/Sugarbeet, chaff, hay or pasture (on a Dry Matter basis).
• Always introduce a new feed gradually over a period of 7 – 10 days.
• Always ensure the Horse has access to clean drinking water.
• High Copper levels in Dunstan Vits + Mins make it unsuitable for feeding to sheep.

For all conditions:

Clean affected area, remove any excess serum with antiseptic solution or mild soap and water. Rinse well and apply Filta Bac liberally, at least once daily, to cover area treated. Every third day, completely clean/wash area, removing old cream and serum, pat dry, reapply.
