Encourage early consumption of solid feed to promote the development of a functional rumen.

Analysis:

Crude Protein 18% Crude Fat 3.79% Starch 41.87% Acid Detergent Fibre 6.97%

Neutral Detergent Fibre 18.38% Soluble Sugars 1.8% Metabolisable Energy (ME) 12.24%

Ingredients; Nourish Lamb Pellets (HP) Crushed Maize Whole Black/Barley Molasses Rumasweet & Silage Saver

Feed Rate;

1-5 weeks; Place small amounts of the meal into a lambs mouth after feeding milk. Keep fresh meal available ad-lib.

4-5 weeks; Wean from milk when consuming approx 200gms of meal per day

5-10 weeks; Increase to meal approx 400-700gms/day with access to grass

The above recommendation should result in about 5kg of milk replacer & 20kg of concentrate being fed per lamb.

Low lactose for superior results in growth and health. Made from 100% NZ only Dairy milk powders specifically for NZ kid goats & lambs.

Fresh clean water should also be available at all times. A meal concentrate and/or hay may be offered from day 7.

Mixing Guide:

Mix the milk replacer at 200gm per litre of warm water.
Add milk replacer to half the volume of water and mix thoroughly. Top up with water to the required volume ensuring the temperature of the milk is 40 Celsius.

LAMB TEAT

The solid cap incorporates a ball valve to allow inlet of air. The teat will fit all standard 28mm thread plastic coke and soda bottles. This is a long lasting teat that has the potential to rear several lambs without perishing. If you wish to speed up the flow just extend the tip x-cuts slightly.
