Drontal is recommended for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm). Drontal is available in tablet form and now in a tasty liver chew which your dog will love.
Drontal is a formulation of three distinctly different proven drugs offering the broadest spectrum of activity. The synergisticfebantel/pyrantel combination is active against roundworms and hookworms and is highly effective against whipworms. Praziquantel provides a superb level of efficiency against all the major tapeworms.

TREATMENT PROGRAMS
Puppies: Treat at 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 weeks of age then every 3 months.
Pregnant and Lactating Bitches: Treat prior to mating, 10 days before whelping and at 2 and 4 weeks after whelping. DRONTAL is safe to use throughout pregnancy.
Adult Dogs: Treat every 3 months. Dogs heavily infested with roundworms, hookworms or whipworms may require retreatment after 14 days. Where tapeworm control only is required, for example where flea tapeworm segments keep reappearing 2-3 weeks after treatment due to reinfestation, or where Taenia ovis control is required, use DRONCIT between DRONTAL treatments.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label. DRONTAL is given as a single dose by mouth and may be administered immediately before or with a meal. The dose rate is 1 tablet per 10 kg (single or 30 packs) or 1 tablet per 35kg (2 packs).
