Cropping is at the heart of Seeds & Cereals feeding solutions, it is supported by the extensive knowledge and resources needed to manage nutritional requirements, feed budgets and a hands on roll in helping growers to manage their cropping and re-grassing programmes.

Seeds & Cereals are part of a large network of growers and traders throughout the country, this gives us a good fix on current prices and movement of wholesale grain, baleage, hay and straw. We take an active roll in moving all these commodities around NZ.

SEED DRESSING PLANT: Our two dressing plants facilitate grain, ryegrass and small seed lines. We have thirty years knowledge and hands on experience in the seed & grain dressing industry. Seeds & Cereals are able to dress registered seed lines. Growers are encouraged to book dressing jobs early.
SEED MIXING PLANT: Our seed mixing plant is used to blend our own specialised seed mixes as well as mixes requested by our clients. The mixing plant is operated by skilled personnel with many years experience in the seed industry. We encourage our clients to book their seed mixing jobs early because this plant gets incredibly busy once sowing season starts.
SEED TREATMENT PLANT: It is now common place to aid the establishment of some crops by treating seed with a growth promoter and or pesticide/fungicide prior to sowing. Seed treating is another area of service and expertise we offer our clients. All our chemical treatment facilities are operated with a qualified chemical handler present. We strongly advise clients to discuss treating options well before sowing time.

ROLLER MILL: Our roller mill runs twelve months of the year, processing grain for our own stock feed requirements and individual client orders. Our mill is fine tuned by skilled operators to suit each individual line of grain to ensure the best properties of the grain are retained for the animal. We are happy to accommodate clients with their own rolled grain requirements.
FEED MIXING PLANT: For the past 10 years we have produced our own popular range of stock feed through our feed mixing plant. We are also well accustomed to producing tailored mixes for specific animal types and their needs. Clients can choose to use one of our established feed mixes or advise us of their own mix.
GRAIN DRYING: In the past we have needed to move damp grain long distances to be dried because of this we recently decided to add a grain dryer to our production program. We are happy to discuss clients grain drying requirements.

Our production team produce a range of quality agricultural seed and grain for both seed and animal feed purposes. These products are marketed under our own brand. These product lines are also distributed to other wholesale animal feed manufactures and merchants around New Zealand.

Seeds & Cereals products are manufactured and housed in our large warehouse on Ngaumutawa Road Masterton. Orders are received via phone, email and website before being dispatched throughout the country.

Seeds & Cereals range of products are purchased by farmers, lifestylers, horse trainers, pet owners and home gardeners either through our own outlet stores in Masterton and Hastings or other reputable outlets around NZ.
